Purple Wild Flower

Caught these guys on Sunday morning while taking a stroll on the Hamilton Bike Path.  It was a very hot day so I was not walking too fast.  I had the 70 - 300 lens on the camera and set up the shot hand held with the vibration reduction on. Again worked it for minimum DOF.  Notice the little strand of a spider web, centre lft, almost at the bottom.  Thought I would go a bit funky with the frame from OnOne software.  (July 2011)
