Last year I posted a similar shot. But, the clouds were not as good. Monday afternoon I noticed the formations building over the lake. I was nowhere near this location, so I decided to take a chance to drive to it and see whether I could get to work for me. It took about 15 minutes to get there and it was well worth the drive. Notice the vapour trails from high flying aircraft....there was a lot of moisture in that area of the sky. Shot with my 18mm - 70mm and a polarising filter on the lens. Hand-held. Then some touch up with my software and we have a cropped 2 shot panorama that looks not so bad. (May 2012)
