A Winter Stream

"A brook can be a friend in a special way. It talks to you with splashy gurgles. It cools your toes and lets you sit quietly beside it when you don't feel like speaking.+ — Joan Walsh Anglund

I am not going to "cool" my toes in this stream today, but it was nice to stand and listen to the "splashy gurgles", but a bit chilly.

Located off of Cedar Springs Road in northern Burlington and probably the only time of the year to get this shot, because of the dense underbrush during the summer.

Turned down the saturation, there still is a bit of colour left, then processed in OnOne using Magic City and Magic Forest to bring out the animal foot print in the snow beside the stream. Finished with an "air brush frame" from an older version of the software.
