A few days ago I wandered up to one of the side roads north of Burlington. I saw a lot of Thistle plants grouped in a small area. There were many butterfly's in the area of a type that I do not remember ever seeing. Shot about 25 pictures. When I came home to process, I figured that they were average. Then I tried some funky stuff with them and these are some of the results. Not my normal mode of processing, however, they looked good using this method. Enjoy these 2 shots. (July 2012)
