Today is Christmas Day 2016. Was a bit bored so I took a drive to the lakeshore on the Hamilton side of the canal. Well it did not lift my spirits. The skies were dingy and dark with the winds blowing right off of the lake. It was freezing.
Managed to fire off a couple of shots with my 300mm lens and was able to capture some unique shots. First of all, the waves, a mirage of the shoreline between the buildings and the water and lastly the contrast of the skies and an aircraft on landing approach to the Island Airport, a former workplace for me. I know it was an aircraft because I "zoomed" in on the photo. (Dec 2016)
Same shot, but processed in Black and White.
